Chocolate is the greatest gift to women ever created, next to the likes of Paul Newman and Gene Kelly. It's something that should be had on a daily basis.

Hey, guess what? It turns out that if 90% of the people want something, and it is the only right thing to do, and not doing it not only "not the right thing" but it is also an abysmally horrid, insensitive, immoral, and boneheaded thing to do, that YOU LOSE. Republican Senator Kelly Ayotte of New…
Every thought about how variable the expression of a particular gene is across an entire cell population? That's what the Weissman lab described in a manuscript in a recent issue of Nature. Anytime you want to take on such a project - take my advice, you turn to yeast. The yeast field has created…
If you saw a headline like this one in your local newspaper, you might first think it's some type of info-tisement sponsored by the floral industry. You'd probably be right, too. So what is this headline doing in Cognitive Daily? We've found a study to support the notion that flowers actually…
Wow! Awesome time at the Viral Evolution conference! But now I have a ton of work/blogging to catch up on! First and foremost: I must have had a near-death experience this weekend, or something, cause I was in heaven. Get this-- I got to see two gods in abiogenesis, Susanna Manrubia and Valerian…

That is insufferably sexist. At least some of us men prefer chocolate to Paul Newman and Gene Kelley. Perhaps not to Cyd Charrise.

I agree. Chocolate is also the greatest gift to men and should not be compared to some old geezers.

=LOL= Let's hear it for male chocoholics! My XY best friend is a bigger chocoholic than any XX I've ever known (including me). We're both hooked on chocolate chips - they're the least expensive dark/semisweet chocolate there is - and we can go through a whole bag of them in nothing flat. Of course, we woudn't turn down a bar or two of real European bittersweet if it were offered to us......

BTW, Milk "chocolate" isn't worthy of the name. Taking the name of chocolate in vain like that is sacrilege, I tell you! It's worse than taking crackers home from church!

Oh, and Coturnix - Maybe it's because I just turned 55 last week, but I've been noticing that old geezers are starting to look HAWTer all the time! ;-)
