Oh, did I tell you that Leonard Cohen will be in Durham in November? Yes, that Leonard Cohen whose music I grew up with?
Yes, I bought the tickets as soon as it was possible and will go to DPAC on November 3rd to hear him live. Finally!!!
I heard that his concert in Belgrade was magical and amazing. I hope it will be the same in Durham.

Last night we went to see Leonard Cohen at the DPAC in Durham. What to say? He's the Legend. Still, at this age, full of energy and spunk. And everything was done to perfection - the set, the lighting and the slow dance of the backup singers had, together, a hypnotic effect. Three hours passed like…
I've been swamped lately, learning to manage my new commute, and being overwhelmed by my new job. So I've been a bit lax about the blog; I've missed three weeks in a row for the friday pathological programming; and I haven't been posting my friday random tens. I don't have time to do a FPP post…
As I mentioned yesterday, I got to see Vinx perform last night at an outdoor jazz festival. As always, it was a show that leaves you exhilirated. Vinx is one of those rarest of musicians whose work is completely unique. No one else sounds like him and his music is really impossible to describe or…

I attended a "intimate" (350 attendees)dinnergala/concert in Monaco on august 22. An unforgettable, almost cosmic expericience. LC sang for more than 2 hours, without break.
Nov 3 will be one of those (few) days for you you'll never forget......

i went to see leonard in belfast and it turned out to be one of his best on his current european tour. if he's half as good in durham you're in for one night to remember!
I went to see Leonard Cohen earlier this year when he played outdoors at a vineyard at Bowral, NSW. He played for almost 3 hours and did 3 encores (the last encore went for over 30 minutes).
He was humble and incredibly polite.
I've seen some excellent concerts over the years (Nirvana & the Cure would top the list in terms of quality/atmosphere) but this one was a cut above the rest.
