I am sitting here in North Carolina in a blog session about blog carnivals, and I am dismayed to ask you what has happened to these three blog carnivals: Tangled Bank, The Boneyard, and The Circus of the Spineless?
I know that there is a small core group of us at ScienceBlogs who are talking about rescuing the Circus of the Spineless, but no one has even mentioned that Tangled Bank may also have gone the way of the dodo, as has the Boneyard. Is there enough interest out there to rescue any (all?) of these three blog carnivals? I am more than willing to step forward as the coordinator/fallback host for Tangled Bank, and I will also help out with these other two carnivals even though they are not in my area of expertise, but I think it is silly to do all this work on my own if no one else -- at least five of you -- is interested to help out. Are there other people who are willing to help rescue these blog carnivals?

PZ has a scedule for Tangled Bank here: Tangled Bank. He hasn't been keeping it current. And I don't know that Larry or subsequent hosts ever posted the Bank.
I have an idea for a group that could take it on. They are down there with you, but I won't reveal who they are yet. One of them has sworn secrecy, even if tortured.
I've been trying to host Tangled Bank for ages, but I've yet to receive a reply...
Some time ago, Tony G. put out a call for hosts for Circus of the Spineless, but it's not clear whether anyone responded.
It ain't dead yet, it's just in limbo. I've been swamped with work lately, and classes start this week, so I've had to neglect it. However, next week, once my life settles into the grind again, I'm going to get it going again, adjust the scheduled dates, and pick up on the new hosts.
