It was only a matter of time until someone created a sex toy for dogs.

From the description:
A dog is an animal with an enormous sexual appetite which can't be controlled. Many methods consist in artificial ways to stop dogs inborn caractere. These methods like castration or meds are going against the nature laws.
So... is this a joke?

I'm going to be coming out with a new post in my Evolution series later this week, but in the meantime, for those of you haven't seen them, I'm reposting my first two Evolution posts, beginning with the one that started the series: The Curious Case of Dogs.

If you are a meat eater, you probably appreciate the texture and flavor of a nice piece of loin, or a properly cooked pork chop, or a chicken breast that is moist and flavorful. But what is it about hot dogs that you appreciate? The pasty enigmatic texture? The idea that the casing either is, or…
Man's best friend is much more than a household companion - for centuries, artificial selection in dogs has made them prime examples of the possibilities of evolution. A century and a half ago, Charles Darwin recognized how the incredibly diverse dogs supported his revolutionary theory in his…
I'm away for the weekend so I thought that I'd repost an article from the old Wordpress blog. This is actually the first ever article I wrote for Not Exactly Rocket Science and I've updated it slightly to take more recent findings into account. I'm considering doing these reposts every Saturday,…
"...is an animal with an enormous sexual appetite which can't be controlled"
isn't that why the species that are currently plodding around are *still* plodding around? without a sexual appetite driving our species to procreate for hundreds of thousands of years, we all (unfortunately) wouldn't be here. controlling sex drive may be adaptive to fit into the social norms established by human society, but i'm not sure that we can apply the same rationale to dogs. it doesn't seem adaptive for them to control their mating behaviors at all.
but if someone wants to make a buck helping dogs project their evolutionary survival skill set onto inanimate objects, let them be my guest. just don't call it less artificial.
No, it's not a joke.
And neither is this.
How is the dog attracted to this? Does it emit doggie pheromones?
same way dogs are attracted to my leg
