Your Result: Dedicated Reader

I took the quiz, and it labeled me a "book snob." Pffft.

Also a dedicated reader.
I realise this quiz doesn't mean anything, but I had problems giving honest answers. E.g., whilst I tend to read only one book at a time, I'm also tend to read multiple periodicals, and the "types" are different: SF/fantasy books, but reality(/sciencey) periodicals. And at least one daily newspaper. And blogs et al. on the internet. And none of the complete sets of books Q6 mentioned. And I usually have a periodical or a newspaper with me ("in my bag") rather than a book. And ... aw, it's not worth going on ... this is just for fun.

I couldn't take it. Too many questions had either more than one answer (which group have you read all of) or no valid choice (like what type do you read most of). With my best guesses, Obsessive-Compulsive Bookworm - but I'm not really that disturbed by "grammatical errors". Really. I'm no prescriptivist.

It had me down as a book snob. Git. I guess it heard me think "Not To The Lighthouse, but I have read Orlando and The Waves".

If anyone around here gets a non-zero score on "non-reader", I suggest they keep it quiet.

Dedicated Reader.

The book groupings seemed a bit odd and question 7 didn't have the real answer "most anything and everything". :o)

Oh yes, question 12 forgot about the hard disk not being large enough.

That's right, they didn't ask anything about magazines.

I don't think anybody in Hollywood likes to read. I can't think of one movie that was better than the book.

I still remember telling my son that the reason grocery stores put magazines near the checkout line is so you'll have something to read while you wait.

It all started when my Mom put the cereal box in front of me when I was eating breakfast. Once I started reading the cereal box then I was off .....

Too weird: I was looking for this quiz last night.

Still an obsessive-compulsive book worm. Woo. Thanks!

I used to be more of a book snob, but having worked in publishing, I have a much more jaundiced and cynical view of the literary world these days. At the rate I've been going lately, I expect that eventually I will end up in the "cookbooks only" category.

Another "dedicated reader" here...
